Tri-fold Squeeze You card

Today I will be sharing a different type of card to make. Using the Simon Says Stamp Squeeze You stamp, stencil and die set I created a fun lemon themed tri-fold card. Card Base: I cut 6 panels using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Arches die set from white cardstock. On three of the panels I created a plaid pattern. You can used plaid paper instead if you want. I also cut two small squares of cardstock to help hinge the arched panels together. Lay down the plaid arched over the other set of arched with edges touching. I glued each of the small squares behind each middle arch between to connect the front and the back arches.  Background: I used the lemon stencils to create the lemon images and cut them out with a smaller size of the arch dies. Focal Point: I stamped the lemon, leaf and branch with blooms and used the coordinating dies to cut them out and add them to the middle arch. Sentiment: I added the sentiment to the first panel cut from white and the shadow from an ink blende...

New Coordinating Dies for Tim Holtz stamp sets - Scared Silly

Have you seen the  Simon Says Stamp Coordinating Dies for Tim Holtz Fall/Halloween stamp sets ? I am sharing one of the new die sets that coordinate with the Scared Silly stamp set . I love this creepy but very cute stamp set. Card Base: Half sheet of white cardstock top folded to create an A2 card size. Background: I cut the background from a wonky stitched rectangle die from white cardstock. I then masked off a strip with post it tape. I used a few stencils from my stash to create a spooky plaid strip using distress inks and a blender brushes. Focal Point: I stamped the images from the Scared Silly stamp set in black ink and colored them with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out and pop them up over the strip. Sentiment: I stamped one of the sentiments from the set and used coordinating die to cut it out and I adhered it with foam squares. I added a few orange gems with craft glue. New Coordinating Dies for Tim Holtz stamp sets - Anatomy Chart

Have you seen the Simon Says Stamp Coordinating Dies for Tim Holtz Fall/Halloween stamp sets ? I am sharing one of the new die sets that coordinate with the  Anatomy Chart stamp set. I had a lot of fun making this project. I just love love love halloween! Card Base: Half sheet of white cardstock top folded to create an A2 card size. Background: I used rectangle dies to cut out a black panel and a red panel to mat it. I stamped the images from the Anatomy Chart stamp set in white pigment ink on the back panel. I added clear embossing powder over and heat set it. Focal Point: I stamped the hand image from the stamp set twice on white cardstock in black ink and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I used detail scissors to modify the cut a bit to fit my design. I adhered them to the background panel with foam squares. Have you seen the Simon Says Stamp Coordinating Dies for Tim Holtz Fall/Halloween stamp sets ? I am sharing one of the new die sets that coordinate with the Leaf Prints 2 stamp set . I have created a clean and simple project to share with you today. Card Base:Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base. Background: Using a stitched A2 rectangle die set I selected a die a bit smaller than the full size to leave a bit of a white border. I used a speckled craft cardstock. Focal Point: I selected three of the images from the Leave Prints 2 set and stamped them onto white cardstock with clear ink and heat set using gold embossing powder. I used the new coordinating dies to cut them out. I added color to each leave with watercolors and a paintbrush. I used foam squares to adhere them to the background panel. Today I am featuring the Altenew Handmade Happiness embossing folder to create this colorful background that I made a shaker thank thanks project. Card Base: Half sheet of white cardstock top folded to create an A2 card size. Background: I trimmed down a quarter sheet of white cardstock to ink blend in rainbow order with dye inks. I then ran it through the embossing folder and used a sandpaper disc to remove some of the color from the raised areas of the impression. Cozy Cottage birthday card

I just love interactive cards! Today I have created this fun birthday card using the Simon Says Stamp Cottagecore stamp set. I created the card base from white cardstock. I followed the instructions from a YouTube video from Jennifer McGuire on how to assemble the side folding shadow box card. I then stamped images from the Cottagecore stamp set in black ink and colored them with copic markers. I fussy cut out all the shapes with detail scissors (there are coordinating dies if you don't want to do that) and arranged them on the back panel of the box card as well as the inside panel with liquid glue. I created a simple design on the front of the card before you open it. Have you seen the Simon Says Stamp Coordinating Dies for Tim Holtz Fall/Halloween stamp sets ? I am sharing one of the new die sets that coordinate with the Monster Reunion stamp set . I had a lot of fun making this project. I just love love love halloween! Card Base:Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base. Background: I used a circle cie to cut a mask out of white copy paper and added some removable adhesive to the back and added it to my card base. I then used a set of blending brushes and purple distress inks to create my spooky sky. I added few white splatters as well. I stamped some bats on the sky and cut out a spooky tree and fence from black cardstock and adhered them to the scene with liquid glue. Focal Point: I stamped an image from the Monster Reunion stamp set in black ink and colored her in with copic markers. Simon Says Stamp September card kit - Simply Shabby

I am so happy to share a project using items from the new Simon Says Stamp September card kit. I am showcasing the gorgeous embossing folder that is included in this kit. I was in need of some serious color therapy so I hand colored each bloom and leaf, but if you prefer there is a coordinating stencil and die set for this embossing folder! Card Base:Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base. Background: Quarter sheet of white cardstock trimmed down to leave a white border. I ran this panel through the embossing folder to leave raised images. I added a yellow ink pad directly to the smooth flat side of the embossing folder to achieve the yellow backdrop to the raised florals that I colored with copic markers. Focal Point: The florals are really the focal point of this card. Sentiment: I used a strip of vellum that stamped the sentiment in clear ink and used white embossing powder and heat set that. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store! Today I am featuring my favorite blending brushes from Pink Fresh Studios . I used the 1/2 blending brushes to create a beautiful beach scene to fit this week's theme. Card Base: Half sheet of white cardstock top folded to create an A2 card size. Background: I create the beach scene using the Beach Bird's eye die cut from white cardstock and ink blended with the 1/2 inch brushes using shades of blue and neutral inks. I left the strip between the water and the sand white and added glitter to it to look like foam of the waves. Focal Point: I added some flying seagulls cut from white cardstock and...

Cow Cuties

Hello crafty friends! I am happy to share a project featuring the adorable Cow Cuties from the new Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness release . I just loved coloring in these sweet little cows! Card Base: Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base. Background: I cut a panel of white cardstock using the decorative Petal Point rectangle frame dies . I used distress ink and a blending tool to create a sky and grass background. Focal Point: I stamped the cute cow images from the stamp set onto white cardstock and colored them using copic makers. I used a copic friendly black ink. I then fussy cut them out. If you are not a crazy person like me who enjoys fussy cutting, there are coordinating dies available for this stamp set. Sentiment: I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set in dark brown ink and used the coordinating die to cut it ot and pop it up under the sweet cows. I added a few sequins for some bling. Card Base: Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base. Background: I trimmed down a panel of Yupo paper to create a spooky pattern with alcohol ink. I used blender fluid and a tool that puffs air to move the ink around. Super fun technique! Focal Point: I stamped a few of the images from the stamp set in black ink and added clear embossing powder to heat set for a bit of shine. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out and used distress inks and copic markers to color the images in to blend into the background.
