Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a project using a few items from the  Simon Says Stamp In My Heart release  to create a cozy Mother's Day card. The embossing folder creates such a cozy sweater texture. Giving this card will be like giving a warm hug! Card Base: Top folding A2 size card base made from white cardstock. Background: Soft pink/apricot cardstock cut into a panel to fit the card base but leave a bit of a white border. I added the panel to the braided embossing folder and ran through my die cut machine. Focal Point: I cut a scalloped frame from white cardstock and adhered it to the panel with liquid glue. I then cut the daisies from white cardstock and the center of the daisies from yellow cardstock. The stems were cut from an olive green cardstock. I arranged them inside the frame with foam squares. Sentiment: I cut a small tag from more yellow cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in olive color ink and used the coordinating sentiment die and added a foam squa...

Hello crafty friends! I am happy to share a project featuring the Apple Blossoms embossing folder from the new Simon Says Stamp In My Heart release . This folder was so beautiful that I couldn't help but make two projects. This folder would be perfect for just about any occasion. It would make an absolute gorgeous Mother's Day card. This was a very simple card to create. I took a quarter sheet of thick white cardstock and ran it through the embossing folder. It left a very defined impression that was so easy to color with either copic markers or even to watercolor would be fun.  I just used three copic colors for the blossoms and two copic colors to color the leaves. I will list them in the supply list. I wrapped gold twine around the embossed and colored panel after I trimmed it down a bit to fit on an A2 size card base to leave a white border. The sentiment is from my stash that I stamped in clear ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. This is an amazing release a...
