Paper Rose Feminine

Hi all and welcome to another week of the  Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . This week's challenge theme ~  Feminine This week we are featuring products from Paper Rose . You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a  $25 voucher to the Simon store! This week I am featuring the gorgeous pattern paper from Paper Rose. This is their Autumn Plaid 6X6 pad . It's nice to stretch your stash by not limiting yourself to a specific holiday in which the product was intended.  Card Base: Top folding A2 size cut from smooth white cardstock. Background: Pattern paper that was cut into a square. You can do this using a square die set or just with your paper trimmer. I adhered it to the top portion of my card base with tape runner. Thinking of You Whirl Butterflies

Hello crafty friends! Nothing says Spring like seeing butterflies so I have create a colorful spring thinking of you project today. I am featuring the  Simon Says Stamp Whirl Butterflies die set  and the very popular  Simon Says Stamp Ribbon Loop Frames die set . Card Base: Smooth white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base. Background: 1/4 sheet of white cardstock ran through a floral embossing folder. I used a gold paint pen to add gold to the center of each embossed flower. Focal Point: I cut butterflies from the die set out of white cardstock, gold and vellum. I took the butterflies cut from white cardstock and ink blended them using distress ink. I then used liquid glue to add the vellum cuts over them. Last, I added the gold butterfly bodies to the center of each with more liquid glue. I popped them up around the card with 3d foam squares. I cut the loopy frame from more gold cardstock. Sentiment: I stamped the sentiment in clear ink and the sprinkled gold embossing...

Hi all and welcome to another week of the  Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . This week's challenge theme ~  Quite Quirky This week we are featuring products from AALL & Create . You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a  $25 voucher to the Simon store! This week I am featuring the AALL & Create Lava Lamp stencil . I thought it would be perfect to create a quirky colorful birthday card. Card Base: Top folding A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. Background: White quarter sheet of white cardstock ink blended with distress ink and a sponge blending tool in splotches randomly. I then laid the stencil over the ink blended panel and then used a blending tool to add black over the entire surface of the stencil. Pro tip: use a light repositionable spray on the back of your stencil to keep it in place. Focal Point: the color and the con...

Simon Says Stamp May 2026 Card Kit - Long Stem Florals

I am so happy to share a project using items from the new Simon Says Stamp May card kit.  I am also featuring the of the add-on dies for the Long Stem Floral stamp set included in the kit.  I just love the whimsical design of these florals! Card Base: Ivory cardstock cut to a side folding A2 size. Background: White cardstock cut from a wonky stitched rectangle die to leave a bit of a border. Focal Point: Florals and stems stamped in black dye ink on white cardstock and colored with copic markers. Coordinating dies were used to cut out the flowers and stems and arranged on background with foam squares for dimension. The parts of the stamped flowers and stems that hung over the stitched background were snipped off with scissors. Sentiment: Sentiment is from the Long Stem Florals set stamped in black ink and sequins added with liquid glue with a embellishment wand. Clearly Besotted Food/Drink

 Hi all and welcome to another week of the  Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . This week's challenge theme ~  Food and/or Drink This week we are featuring products from Clearly Besotted . You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a  $25 voucher to the Simon store! This week I am featuring an adorable stamp set Capy Cupcake from Clearly Besotted . I used them to create cupcake toppers. I stamped the images from the stamp set on white cardstock using alcohol friendly black ink and colored the images in with copic markers. I then fussy cut them out and used a foam square to adhere them to the scalloped circles that I cut out of cream and dark brown cardstock. I used a bit of distress ink on the circles and adhered them together with craft glue.   I turned them into mini cupcake toppers by glueing a toothpick to the back of the scalloped circl...

Love You, Mom card

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a project using a few items from the  Simon Says Stamp In My Heart release  to create a beautiful Mother's Day project. This is a colorful card that features the new Love You, Mom wafer die , Best Mom Background stamp , Flourish Butterfly Trio dies , and Apricot cardstock . Card Base: A2 size top folding card base made from white cardstock Background: Stitched rectangle die used to cut a panel from Apricot cardstock to leave a bit of a white border. From watercolor paper I cut an arched panel. I added watercolor with distress ink and a paintbrush. Then I inked up a script background stamp with a coordinating ink and stamped that over the arched panel. Focal Point: I cut the trio of butterflies from white cardstock and ink blended them with distress ink using the same ins that I watercolored background with.
