Everlasting Flowers - Simple coloring projects

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a couple of projects made featuring the Everlasting Flowers one of my favorite embossing folders from the Simon Says Stamp In My Heart release. This is a simple but gorgeous floral pattern perfect for simple coloring to create something special!
First Project:
Card Base: Top folding portrait A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock.
Background: Using a ruler and copic markers I created a plaid background to coordinate with my focal point. I used a paper trimmer to trim the plaid panel down to leave a white border. I added a thin frame die cut three times from white cardstock.
Focal Point: I ran a piece of white cardstock through the floral embossing folder and I colored the flowers that are pressed into the paper with the folder with copic markers and just fussy cut them out and adhered them to a decorative frame cut from glitter and white cardstock.
Sentiment: Sentiment was stamped on white cardstock with a matching  dye ink and cut out with it's coordinating die three times for thickness.
Second Project:
Card Base: White cardstock trimmed down to a top fold portrait A2 size card base.
Background and Focal point: White cardstock ran through the floral embossing folder and trimmed down to leave a bit of a border. I then used copic markers to color each raised flower. I then cut a frame and colored it with the same copic marker I used for the stems and leaves of the flower.
Sentiment: Birthday banner dies cut from white and glitter cardstock. I adhered them together with liquid glue and used foam squares to pop them up on the card.
Here is a little peek at the process of coloring in the raised flowers from the embossing folder.
I used just one shade of green to color in the stems and leaves. I love to color so this is considered fun and relaxing for me.
I then used two shades of yellow to color the blooms. Just a bit of shading on the bottom with a shade darker yellow.
I hope you got some inspiration. I have listed all the supplies I used for this project below for your convenience. Thank you for stopping by!
