Today I am featuring my absolute favorite Spellbinder's Tufted embossing folder . I just love the softness and design of this impression. Perfect for any type of project! For this project, I used it for a subtle background for my birthday themed card. Card Base: Top folding A2 size card base made from a half sheet of cream cardstock. Background: Quarter sheet of white cardstock ran through the tufted embossing folder and matted on a piece of gold cardstock to leave a bit of a gold border. Hello crafty friends! I am happy to share a project featuring the Opulent Thanks die and the Bubbles stencil from the new Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness release . What a fantastic size this die is and this stencil is just screaming for color! Card Base: I cut a full sheet of white cardstock in half and then created a landscape top folding A2 size card base. Background: I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock to fit the card base leaving a bit of a border. I placed the panel on a tacky silicone mat and used large blending brushes to add a light shade of each color in thirds across the panel. I then placed the bubbles stencil over the panel and used smaller blending brushes and more pressure to create a darker shade over the stencil using the same colors. Focal Point and Sentiment: I wanted to create a "ghost" background so I used the shadow die from the thanks set and cut it out from the ink blended panel. Hello crafty friends! I am happy to share a project featuring the from the new Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness release. I am featuring the Tissue Paper Stems die set. This project made good use of my left over colored cardstock in my stash!  Card Base: Half sheet of cream cardstock top folded to create an A2 card size. Background: White cardstock cut to a quarter sheet and ran through the new Woven Rings embossing folder. I used a paper trimmer to leave a bit of a border. Focal Point: I cut the flowers and stems from various colors of scrap cardstock and adhered them to the background with liquid glue and 3d foam squares for some dimension on petals. Sentiment: I used the Blessed die from the Oak Leaf die set cut from gold and white cardstock. I tied some natural twine around the background before I adhered it to the card base. Today I am featuring some gorgeous ink pads from Pink & Main . I was surprised how amazing these inks blend!  Card Base: Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base. Background: I used one sheet of a plaid stencil set and the Pink & Main inks to create this background.  I used the same skinny line stencil and just rotated for each color. I used a blending brush to blend the ink into the stencil. I then trimmed it down to fit the card base and leave a bit of a border. Focal Point: I cut the flowers, leaves and stems from the die set out of white cardstoc...

Sharing a fun shaker card with lots of hearts! I've listed everything I used below with a description of how I created this project. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by! I made this fun card using a couple if the coordinating heart dies to create a shaker element. I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then cut a panel using the stitched rectangle dies to leave a bit of a border. I cut a few heart windows on the panel. I adhered clear acetate over a couple of the heart windows for my shaker hearts. Using the new Lot's of Hearts stamp set I stamped many colorful hearts and used the coordinating dies to cut them out and arranged them on the panel with the window cut outs. I adhered them with foam squares to pop them up. I added foam strips behind the window panel to house the shaker elements. I also added a few diamond glitter paper behind a couple of the heart cutouts. Last, I stamped a sentiment and cut it out and added to the bottom portion of the c...

Card Base: Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base. Background: Quarter sheet of white cardstock that I ran through a plaid embossing folder and adhered to the front of the card base. Focal Point: I took scraps of colored cardstock to cut these adorable florals out of and adhered them to the inside piece of the frame die I cut from white cardstock. I arran...

I am so happy to share a project using items from the new Simon Says Stamp August card kit along with one of the add-on items for this kit. Card Base: Side folding pre-scored white A2 size note card. This card base is included in the kit. Background: The kit also include a full sheet of Tim Holtz Ranger Distress watercolor cardstock. I cut it down to fit the card base and leave a small border.  Focal Point: I took the trimmed down watercolor panel and ran it through the Brightest Bloon embossing folder included in the kit. I used the distress crayons in the kit to color the raised image. I mixed them together to create the desired color and applied it with the watercolor pen. I then added some gold paint detail around the edges of the panel and some splatter. Sentiment: I used the Darling Script die for the sentiment. I cut three times from the watercolor paper and used the same gold paint to add color to the sentiment. I tied twine around the panel, tied a bow and adhered it to t...

Today I am sharing three projects featuring one of my favorite daisy dies, the Simon Says Stamp Tilted Daisies along with a fun technique using an embossing folder. I began by creating an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another piece of white cardstock to create my background panel which I ran through the embossing folder. I then turned it over and added distress ink directly over the entire top surface of the panel. The ink pad left ink on the raised portions of the embossing while leaving the "valley" surfaces white. I just love this technique. I then cut an oval frame from white cardstock and used the coordinating distress color to ink bend the center of the oval frame. I die cut the flowers and colored the centers and stems with copic markers and added them with foam squares to the oval frame. I stamped the sentiment and used the coordinating die to cut it out.
