Spellbinders Anything Goes

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme ~ Anything Goes!

This week we are featuring products from Spellbinders. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
Today I am featuring my absolute favorite Spellbinder's Tufted embossing folder. I just love the softness and design of this impression. Perfect for any type of project! For this project, I used it for a subtle background for my birthday themed card.
Card Base: Top folding A2 size card base made from a half sheet of cream cardstock.
Background: Quarter sheet of white cardstock ran through the tufted embossing folder and matted on a piece of gold cardstock to leave a bit of a gold border.
Focal Point: I cut the cupcake die from scraps of colored cardstock and adhered it together with liquid glue and foam squares. I cut an extra piece of the cup cake liner and trimmed out the slats and popped them up with foam square for some extra dimension. I die cut hearts to sit at the base of the cupcake also cut from scraps of colored cardstock.
Sentiment: I used an Happy Birthday sentiment and stamped in clear ink on the red banner die. I added gold embossing powder and heat set it for some more gold shine. I made my banner by tracing an old banner stamp and then fussy cut it out with scissors. I used more foam squares to adhere it around the liner of the cupcake.
Here is a photo taken from a different prospective.
I hope you got some inspiration and enjoyed the project I made. I have listed the supplies below for your convenience. Thank you for stopping by!
