Altenew Anything Goes

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme ~ Anything Goes!

This week we are featuring products from Altenew. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
This week I am featuring Altenew's Sixties Sunshine embossing folder and the One-go Words & Banners stamps and dies. I like to stretch my supplies by using them in a different way. Using this gorgeous embossing folder I have created textured die cut images.
Card base: Side folding A2 card base made from white cardstock.
Background: Wonky stitched rectangle die cut from white cardstock to leave a white border.
Focal Point: I ran a thick quarter sheet of white cardstock through the embossing folder. I then selected a few of the floral images to color in with copic markers and fussy cut out with detail scissors. I arranged them on the stitched panel. Usine gray cardstock I cut the stems from Arctic Poppies stamp set for each flower I embossed and colored.
Sentiment: I stamped the sentiment in cherry ink on white cardstock and used the coordinating banner dies to create a sentiment strip that I added gold eyelets to and tied onto the card panel with natural twine.

I then trimmed down another white panel and scored it every half inch and then dragging the distress ink pad directly over the panel to create a woodgrain background. Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Blog party . Today I am sharing three fall themed projects using goodies from the STAMPtember release . 👇Special promotion exclusive for this post!👇 The first project features the Twisted Tree Arch die set , Haunted Pumpkin die set and the cute Trick or Treat 2 die. I used a lot of ink blending and die cutting for this project. I used a cloud border stencil and distress ink to create the background. The trees was cut from dark brown cardstock and everything else was cut from white cardstock and colored with distress inks. Next, I used the gorgeous Mod Forest Embossing folder to create the colors of Autumn. I also used the new Be Patient die cut from gold cardstock. I embossed a white piece of cardstock and used a small blender brush to color in the "valley" side of the embossed panel with distress inks and then dragged a brown ink pad directly over the colored trees creating the distressed autumn scene with a few inks splatters.
