Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release day - Blushing Bloom
Hello crafty friends! I can't believe it's finally Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember!! Ok I'll turn down the exclamation points, but I'm super excited to be sharing a project using a few goodies from this release.
Card Base:Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base.
Background: I made a bright and vibrant plaid background on a quarter sheet of thick white cardstock. I used dye ink pads and drew horizontal and vertical lines using the ink pad directly to the cardstock. I have a video over on my Instagram showing the process. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut it out to leave a bit of a white border.
Focal Point: I cut the flowers and leaves using the Simon Says Stamp Blushing Bloom die set out of white cardstock. I colored the center of the flowers and the leaves with distress ink. I used foam squares to adhere them to the plaid background.
Sentiment: I cut the Happy sentiment from gold cardstock and twice from white cardstock and adhered together with craft glue for thickness. I stamped the birthday in red ink and used the coordinating die to cut it out and used foam squares to pop it under the the gold happy die.
I hope you enjoyed the project I made to kick off STAMPtember. I hope you will head over and take a look at all the amazing new goodies from this release. I have provided affiliate links to all the products used in this project at no additional costs to you. Thanks for stopping by and happy STAMPtember!
