Pink fresh studios Summertime Blues

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . This week's challenge theme ~ Summertime Blues This week we are featuring products from Pink Fresh Studios. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store! Today I am featuring my favorite blending brushes from Pink Fresh Studios . I used the 1/2 blending brushes to create a beautiful beach scene to fit this week's theme. Card Base: Half sheet of white cardstock top folded to create an A2 card size. Background: I create the beach scene using the Beach Bird's eye die cut from white cardstock and ink blended with the 1/2 inch brushes using shades of blue and neutral inks. Cow Cuties

Hello crafty friends! I am happy to share a project featuring the adorable Cow Cuties from the new Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness release . I just loved coloring in these sweet little cows! Card Base: Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base. Background: I cut a panel of white cardstock using the decorative Petal Point rectangle frame dies . I used distress ink and a blending tool to create a sky and grass background. Focal Point: I stamped the cute cow images from the stamp set onto white cardstock and colored them using copic makers. I used a copic friendly black ink. I then fussy cut them out. If you are not a crazy person like me who enjoys fussy cutting, there are coordinating dies available for this stamp set. Sentiment: I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set in dark brown ink and used the coordinating die to cut it ot and pop it up under the sweet cows. I added a few sequins for some bling. Tim Holtz Fall/Halloween stamps and Simon Says Stamp coordinating dies Blog Hop

I am happy to be participating in the Tim Holtz Fall/Halloween new coordinating dies blog hop! I always look forward to the new dies that coordinate with Tim's amazing stamp sets. Today I am sharing the new dies for Tim Holtz The Scarecrow stamp set . Click HERE to see the entire new release of coordinating dies for Tim's Halloween stamp sets. Card Base: Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base. Background: I trimmed down a panel of Yupo paper to create a spooky pattern with alcohol ink. I used blender fluid and a tool that puffs air to move the ink around. Super fun technique! Focal Point: I stamped a few of the images from the stamp set in black ink and added clear embossing powder to heat set for a bit of shine. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out and used distress inks and copic markers to color the images in to blend into the background. New Coordinating Dies for Tim Holtz stamp sets - Leaf Prints

New Simon Says Stamp Coordinating Dies for Tim Holtz Fall/Halloween stamp sets . I am sharing one of the new die sets that coordinate with the Leaf Prints stamp set . These leaf images just scream to be watercolored! Card Base: Half sheet of white cardstock top folded to create an A2 card size. Background: Quarter sheet of white cardstock cut to leave a white border. I used a splatter brush to add gold paint and distress ink. I also used a blending tool to add ink to the edges of the panel. Focal Point: I stamped images from the Leaf Prints stamp set on watercolor cardstock in distress ink and used a watercolor pen to color the images in. I used the new coordinating dies to cut them out and arrange them around the ink splattered panel and adhered them with foam squares. I then used scissors to trim off the overhang of the panel.  Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . This week's challenge theme ~ Monochromatic This week we are featuring products from  Gina K Designs . You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store! Today I am featuring Gina K Designs Lush Leaves stencil . This is such a gorgeous design of fern like leaves in a beautiful pattern. I just had to make more than one! The steps to create these cards are all the samel. The only difference is the color of texture paste and sentiment die. Card Base: I cut a sheet of white cardstock in half and created a top folding landscape A2 size cardbase. Background: I used a quarter sheet of white cardstock. I applied a light layer of ink with a blending brush. I did this on a stick mat. I then added the stencil over the lightly inked panel and added a layer of colored te...

Sunflower Meadow Birthday card

Hello crafty friends! I am happy to share a project featuring the Sunflower Meadow stamp set from the new Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness release . I have tried my hand at some watercoloring with this beautiful stamp set. Card Base: Half sheet of white cardstock top folded to create an A2 card size. Background: Quarter sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of watercolor paper cut out with a stitched rectangle die. Focal Point: I began by adding a light brushing of water across the entire watercolor panel. I then used the floral images from the Sunflower Meadow stamp . I stamped them on the wet panel with a light distress ink so I could create a no-line watercolored look. I added ink splatter after is was dry. Sentiment: I used one of the sentiments from the Daisy Frame stamp set and coordinating die to cut it out and pop it up on the top of the card. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store! Today I am featuring my absolute favorite Spellbinder's Tufted embossing folder . I just love the softness and design of this impression. Perfect for any type of project! For this project, I used it for a subtle background for my birthday themed card. Card Base: Top folding A2 size card base made from a half sheet of cream cardstock. Background: Quarter sheet of white cardstock ran through the tufted embossing folder and matted on a piece of gold cardstock to leave a bit of a gold border. Focal Point: I cut the cupcake die from scraps of colored cardstock and adhered it together with liquid glue and foam s...
