Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness release Blog Hop - Day 1

Card Base:Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base.
Background: Quarter sheet of white cardstock that I ran through the Alstroemeria Blooms embossing folder. I trimmed it down to leave a bit of a white border.
Focal Point: I took the embossed panel and added color to to the "debossed" areas of the florals and to the stems with copic markers. I then took a distress pad and dragged it all over the front of the panel. The distress pad will only leave color on the raised areas and you will have this amazing effect.
Sentiment: I stamped the sentiment in the coordinating color and used circle dies to cut it out and then matted it with gold cardstock also cut with a circle die. I added twine and enamel dots to finish it off.

    Your card featuring the new Alstroemeria Blooms embossing folder is beautiful. Embossing folders are such a fantastic way to make beautiful & detailed cards. The fact that both sides of the embossed areas give different looks is a big bonus. Thanks for sharing your lovely card.

I used an A2 size card base cut from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another white panel and scored it every half inch and then dragging the distress ink pad directly over the panel to create a woodgrain background. Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Blog party . Today I am sharing three fall themed projects using goodies from the STAMPtember release . 👇Special promotion exclusive for this post!👇 The first project features the Twisted Tree Arch die set , Haunted Pumpkin die set and the cute Trick or Treat 2 die. I used a lot of ink blending and die cutting for this project. I used a cloud border stencil and distress ink to create the background. The trees was cut from dark brown cardstock and everything else was cut from white cardstock and colored with distress inks. Next, I used the gorgeous Mod Forest Embossing folder to create the colors of Autumn. I also used the new Be Patient die cut from gold cardstock. I embossed a white piece of cardstock and used a small blender brush to color in the "valley" side of the embossed panel with distress inks and then dragged a brown ink pad directly over the colored trees creating the distressed autumn scene with a few inks splatters.
