Simon Says Stamp Sugar and Spice release Blog Hop Day 1

I'm so happy to be participating in day 1 of the Simon Says Stamp Sugar & Spice Blog Hop. This post will have lots of inspiration, giveaways and a special offer for this blog hop.

This first project features the Candy Cane Plate die and the Fancy Joy & Cheer die set. This card came together effortlessly. I can see making a whole bunch for the holiday season. All die cutting!
Next, I created a holiday card featuring the Charming Berry Branch die that I cut from light green cardstock and added to a dark green panel of cardstock for contrast. I added a few red jewels for the berries with a sentiment from the new CZ Designs Inside Greetings Holiday stamp set.
Last, I used the coordinating die that is included with the Santa Faces Emboss and cut set. I love the texture and detail that this 3d embossing folder gives to the cute santa faces. I colored them in with copic markers and again used a light green background strip for contrast. Super easy to make!

    It's a good thing that in order to make a comment that we don't have to commit to a favorite, ALL of your cards are wonderful. Nothing says Christmas like Candy canes, that is a bright happy and nostalgic card with the traditional red and white. The Berry Branch die with a spin on traditional Christmas colors made for a striking card the same with the Santa card. which by the way is ADORABLE, who doesn't love a round faced Jolly Santa.

    I love your card when I first saw it on Heidi's live this morning. That candy can border really makes a statement when it's cut on white and backed in red.

    Your cards are great and fun! The candy canes with the Joy & Cheer sentiment is very clean but festive. I like the greenery card with the red gems.The gems add a great dimension and pop. The Santa faces are adorable. The hats look like they have shine but I'm guessing it's your great talent with coloring. Very talented!!!

I used an A2 size card base cut from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another white panel and scored it every half inch and then dragging the distress ink pad directly over the panel to create a woodgrain background.
