Simon Says Stamp Favorite Things Blog Hop - Day 1

I'm so happy to be participating in day 1 of the Simon Says Stamp Favorite Things blog hop. If you are looking for some Easter/Spring inspiration, you have come to the right place. I have created 3 projects for the blog hop today!

This first card features the new Springtime Celebration Plate. I die cut it from white cardstock and popped out the images. I colored them with copics and put them back like a puzzle to create this fun background.
My next project features the Decorated Eggs Wafer dies. I die cut the eggs and decor all out of scraps of colored cardstock and arranged them in a wreath pattern on the new Wavy Ways 3d embossed background. I then added the new Blessed die cut from gold cardstock. 
 
For my last project, I decided to use the new Basic Shapes Circle dies to create a shape card featuring the Bundled Bunny die. I used distress inks and copic markers to color the background and images on this project.

    Barbara, your cards are beautiful. Love the Springtime Celebration Plate card. Color selection is so nice. The embossing folder makes a nice background on the Easter egg wreath card. And the circle shape is fabulous on your last card. Thanks so much for sharing...loved all three!

    You might think this weird of me to say, but I must say that even though I generally like video tutorials, I appreciated you NOT having a video tutorial for these cards, as I am pressed for time. It was nice to just read for a change and all of your cards are lovely, but I love the one you made with the Springtime Celebration Plate the most. I created this card with an A2 card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down a panel of Yupo paper to create an autumnal background using alcohol inks. When it was dry I trimmed it down to fit the card base leaving a bit of a white border. I then die cut a frame from white cardstock and added to the card with liquid glue. I then die cut the new Fancy Just Because die from more white cardstock. Simon Says Stamp DieCember Blog Party

I'm so happy to be sharing inspiration for the Simon Says Stamp DieCember blog party! Be sure to take advantage of the  exclusive promotion for this blog party👇👇  I'm one of those rare people that begins to decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. Using the new Ornate Star die I created ornaments for my little flocked Christmas tree. I feel like I could make a dozen of these easily! I die cut the Ornate Star die once from gold cardstock and once from silver cardstock. I then glued the die cut stars on to silver and gold glitter paper. I weighted it with a large acrylic block to help the stars adhered firmly to the glitter cardstock. When the adhesive was dry I used a craft knife to cut out the stars from the glitter cardstock. I then die cut the Merry Christmas sentiment from red metallic cardstock and white cardstock and adhered together for thickness and glued them carefully to the stars as to not have a glob of glue mess up the shine of the metallic cardstock.
