Tim Holtz Add Some Texture

 Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme ~ Add Some Texture

This week we are featuring products from Tim Holtz. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
Today I am featuring the Tim Holtz Texture Fades Brickwork embossing folder. This is a great folder to add a ton of dimension to any project!
Card Base:Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base.
Background: I cut a quarter panel of pink 81/2 by 11 cardstock and ran it through the Tim Holtz embossing folder and trimmed it down to leave a bit of a white border. I then adhered it to the card base with craft glue.
Focal Point: I cut many different snowflakes that I have in my stash from white, pink and craft cardstock. I cut a few smaller snowflakes from gold cardstock and added them to the centers of the larger snowflakes for some shine. I arranged them on the embossed background with foam squares.
Sentiment: Using the new CZ Design Christmas Joy stamp set I chose one of the sentiments and stamped it in clear ink on to pink cardstock and heat set it with gold embossing powder. I used the coordinating die to cut it out and adhered it with more foam squares.

Simon Says Stamp DieCember® Blog Hop - Day 1

I'm so happy to be participating in day 1 of the Simon Says Stamp DieCember blog hop. This post will have lots of inspiration, giveaways and a special offer for this blog hop.  This first project is a shaker holiday card featuring the Jolly Snowmen Embossing Folder . I cut the three sonowmen using the dies that are included with the embossing folder. I colored them with copics and added them to the inside of the Antique Snowglobe emboss and cut die to create this cute scene. I framed it using the Eyelet Layer Frames colored with distress ink. Last, I added the Warm Wishes Medley die cut from white cardstock. I used the Love Celebration Plate die to create this next project. I die cut the plate several times from colored cardstock and once from white cardstock. I paper pieced the elements from the colored cardstock cuts on to the white cut.
