Tilted Daisy Trio of cards
Today I am sharing three projects featuring one of my favorite daisy dies, the Simon Says Stamp Tilted Daisies along with a fun technique using an embossing folder.
I began by creating an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another piece of white cardstock to create my background panel which I ran through the embossing folder. I then turned it over and added distress ink directly over the entire top surface of the panel. The ink pad left ink on the raised portions of the embossing while leaving the "valley" surfaces white. I just love this technique.
I then cut an oval frame from white cardstock and used the coordinating distress color to ink bend the center of the oval frame. I die cut the flowers and colored the centers and stems with copic markers and added them with foam squares to the oval frame. I stamped the sentiment and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I added a few sequins for some sparkle.
