Studio Light Back to School
Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
This week's challenge theme ~ Back to School
This week we are featuring products from Studio Light. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
Today I am featuring the amazing Studio Light embossing tools. These tools can add a bit of dimensional magic to your projects!
Card Base: Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base.
Background: Swiss dots background stamped on to a quarter sheet of white cardstock in vintage photo distress ink and trimmed to leave a bit of a white border. Edges ink blended with more distress ink.
Focal Point: I chose a few of my floral dies from my stash and cut them from white cardstock. I used a foam pad and the Studio Light embossing tools to create a dimensional look by pressing and rolling on the backside of the flower dies. I used copic markers and distress ink to add color to each flower. I die cut the swirly frame to arrange the flowers on with foam squares on the upper left side of the frame.
Sentiment: I die cut the Teacher sentiment from white cardstock and used a dark brown copic marker to color it and adhered them all together for thickness. I stamped the sub-sentiment in coordinating ink and used detail scissors to cut it out and add it above the Teacher die cut. I added a few gems for sparkle.
I hope you got some inspiration and enjoyed the project I made. I have listed the supplies below for your convenience. Thank you for stopping by!
