Newton's Nook Four Legged Friends

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme ~ Four Legged Friends

This week we are featuring products from Newton's Nook. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
Today I am featuring the absolutely adorable Newton's Nook Newton's Blooms stamp set. There are two little kittens nestled in that bouquet! So cute!!
Card Base:Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base.
Background: I used a scalloped arched frame die to create the background for this cute scene. I cut it from white and red cardstock. I used a sponge to create a sky backdrop with distress ink.
Focal Point: I stamped the images from the set in black alcohol friendly ink and colored the images with copic markers. I then fussy cut the images out and added them to the arched framed panel with foam squares for dimension.
Sentiment: I stamped the sentiment that was included in the stamp set in black ink under the scene.Last. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Blog party . Today I am sharing three fall themed projects using goodies from the STAMPtember release . 👇Special promotion exclusive for this post!👇 The first project features the Twisted Tree Arch die set , Haunted Pumpkin die set and the cute Trick or Treat 2 die. I used a lot of ink blending and die cutting for this project. I used a cloud border stencil and distress ink to create the background. The trees was cut from dark brown cardstock and everything else was cut from white cardstock and colored with distress inks. Next, I used the gorgeous Mod Forest Embossing folder to create the colors of Autumn. I also used the new Be Patient die cut from gold cardstock. I embossed a white piece of cardstock and used a small blender brush to color in the "valley" side of the embossed panel with distress inks and then dragged a brown ink pad directly over the colored trees creating the distressed autumn scene with a few inks splatters.
