Penny Black Anything Goes!

 Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme ~ Anything Goes!

This week we are featuring products from Penny Black. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
Today I am featuring the Penny Black Posted stamp set and the Posted die that coordinates with the stamp set. Such a fun stamp set that will lend itself to any type of project.
Card Base: Top folding half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock cut to an A2 size card base.
Background: I used a turnabout stamp to create a custom plaid background. I used distress ink and double sided clear tape to add sparkle with ice glitter to the plaid stripes.
Focal Point: I cut a daisy with stem and leaves die out of white cardstock and added color with distress ink and copic markers. I added it to the postal cut out that I stamped with the coordinating stamps.
Sentiment: I stamped the sentiment in brown ink and cut it out with a coordinating die and adhered it to the card with foams squares. I added a few sequins with liquid glue.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Blog party . Today I am sharing three fall themed projects using goodies from the STAMPtember release . 👇Special promotion exclusive for this post!👇 The first project features the Twisted Tree Arch die set , Haunted Pumpkin die set and the cute Trick or Treat 2 die. I used a lot of ink blending and die cutting for this project. I used a cloud border stencil and distress ink to create the background. The trees was cut from dark brown cardstock and everything else was cut from white cardstock and colored with distress inks. Next, I used the gorgeous Mod Forest Embossing folder to create the colors of Autumn. I also used the new Be Patient die cut from gold cardstock. I embossed a white piece of cardstock and used a small blender brush to color in the "valley" side of the embossed panel with distress inks and then dragged a brown ink pad directly over the colored trees creating the distressed autumn scene with a few inks splatters.
