New Coordinating Dies for Tim Holtz stamp sets - Tiny Things

Today Simon Says Stamp is releasing coordinating dies for Tim Holtz previously released stamp sets. I am sharing one of the new die sets that coordinate with the Tiny Things stamp set. I just love all the small images and how detailed they are. No more fussy cutting for Tim's beautiful stamps! 
I was inspired by Nichole Spohr's project of the octopus holding some of the Tiny Things in it's tentacles. Click here to see her project. She is so talented!
Card Base: Smooth white 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock cut in half to create an A2 top folding size card base.
Background: I used a gingham background stamp and distress inks. I trimmed it down to fit the card base but leave a bit of a border.
Focal Point: I chose a few of the images from the Tiny Thing stamp set and used copic friendly black in to stamp them on white cardstock. I used the new coordinating dies to cut them out and add them to the tentacles of the octopus that I also cut out using its coordinating die. I adhered it all to the card base with foam squares for a little dimension.
Sentiment: I stamped one of the Tiny Text sentiments in clear ink on a strip of teal cardstock and sprinkled white embossing powder over and heat set that. I created tails for the strip to look like a banner stuck in the tentacles as well. I added a few enamel dots to finish this project up.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Blog party . Today I am sharing three fall themed projects using goodies from the STAMPtember release . 👇Special promotion exclusive for this post!👇 The first project features the Twisted Tree Arch die set , Haunted Pumpkin die set and the cute Trick or Treat 2 die. I used a lot of ink blending and die cutting for this project. I used a cloud border stencil and distress ink to create the background. The trees was cut from dark brown cardstock and everything else was cut from white cardstock and colored with distress inks. Next, I used the gorgeous Mod Forest Embossing folder to create the colors of Autumn. I also used the new Be Patient die cut from gold cardstock. I embossed a white piece of cardstock and used a small blender brush to color in the "valley" side of the embossed panel with distress inks and then dragged a brown ink pad directly over the colored trees creating the distressed autumn scene with a few inks splatters.
