New Coordinating Dies for Tim Holtz stamp sets - Tiny Things 2

 Today Simon Says Stamp is releasing coordinating dies for Tim Holtz previously released stamp sets. I am sharing one of the new die sets that coordinate with the Tiny Things 2 stamp set. I just love all the small images and how detailed they are. No more fussy cutting for Tim's beautiful stamps! 
Card Base: Smooth white 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock cut in half to create an A2 top folding size card base.
Background: Quarter sheet of white cardstock scored every 1/2 inch on a scoring board with a score tool. I then took a distress ink pad and added ink directly to the raised lines to make a plank wood background.
Focal Point: Mini tags cut form craft cardstock stamped with a script background stamp and used distress ink around the edges. I then stamped the Tiny Things 2 images in black ink and used the coordinating dies to cut them out and adhered them to the tags with foam squares. I added a few die cut stars cut from a light blue cardstock.
Sentiment: I stamped the sentiment from my Tim Holtz stash in the same distress ink and used the sentiment dies to cut it out from light blue cardstock and adhered with foam squares. I also added more ink arouond the edges.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Blog party . Today I am sharing three fall themed projects using goodies from the STAMPtember release . 👇Special promotion exclusive for this post!👇 The first project features the Twisted Tree Arch die set , Haunted Pumpkin die set and the cute Trick or Treat 2 die. I used a lot of ink blending and die cutting for this project. I used a cloud border stencil and distress ink to create the background. The trees was cut from dark brown cardstock and everything else was cut from white cardstock and colored with distress inks. Next, I used the gorgeous Mod Forest Embossing folder to create the colors of Autumn. I also used the new Be Patient die cut from gold cardstock. I embossed a white piece of cardstock and used a small blender brush to color in the "valley" side of the embossed panel with distress inks and then dragged a brown ink pad directly over the colored trees creating the distressed autumn scene with a few inks splatters.
