I used an A2 size card base cut from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another white panel and scored it every half inch and then dragging the distress ink pad directly over the panel to create a woodgrain background. I then die cut several of the flowers from the coordinating dies for the new Flower Power stamp set from scraps of colored cardstock. I adhered them to the woodgrain panel with foam squares...

This first project features the new fun Cake Slice Shaker die to create my shaker element. I used some of the images from the new Birthday Holder Additions to create this birthday card. I just die cut the images from scraps of colored cardstock and popped them up on the stenciled background with foam squares. Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Blog party . Today I am sharing three fall themed projects using goodies from the STAMPtember release . ๐Special promotion exclusive for this post!๐ The first project features the Twisted Tree Arch die set , Haunted Pumpkin die set and the cute Trick or Treat 2 die. I used a lot of ink blending and die cutting for this project. I used a cloud border stencil and distress ink to create the background. The trees was cut from dark brown cardstock and everything else was cut from white cardstock and colored with distress inks. Next, I used the gorgeous Mod Forest Embossing folder to create the colors of Autumn. I also used the new Be Patient die cut from gold cardstock. I embossed a white piece of cardstock and used a small blender brush to color in the "valley" side of the embossed panel with distress inks and then dragged a brown ink pad directly over the colored trees creating the distressed autumn scene with a few inks splatters.
