One die three designs - Simple Flowers
Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing three projects featuring the Simon Says Stamp Simple Flowers die. Each one is a completely unique design using the same flower die.
Design 1-
Card Base: Top folding A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock.
Background: White cardstock I cut two scalloped rectangle dies. One to cover the entire front of the card base and the other to frame the flowers. I used a ruler and copic markers to create my own custom plaid background.
Focal Point: Large flower cut from scraps of colored cardstock and adhered together with craft glue. I then cut the smaller flowers to arrange around the larger flower.
Sentiment: I cut the birthday and happy sentiment from coral cardstock and adhered them to the card with craft glue and foam squares. I added clear sequins with crafty glue and an embellishment wand.
Design 2-
Card Base: Top folding A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock.
Background: On a sheet of copy or scratch paper I added double sided tape all over the front. Using a paper trimmer I created stripes of colored cardstock to cover the scrap piece of paper. I then trimmed it down to leave 1/4 inch white border. I adhered it to the card base with adhesive.
Focal point and sentiment: I used the simple flowers die to create a swash of small flowers. I cut them from colored cardstock scraps. I then cut the sentiment from white cardstock three times for thickness and adhered to the center of the striped panel with crafty glue.
Design 3-
Card Base: Top folding A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock.
Background: I cut two panels of stitched rectangles. I adhered the larger one to the card base and the smaller one I masked off using post it tape and create a plaid print using a ruler and copic markers.
Focal Point: I cut the simple flowers from scraps of cardstock and arranged them in a rectangle patter in set of of three to cover the plaid background with foam squares.
Sentiment: I stamped the sentiment in a coordinating dye ink on all sides of the plaid panel. Pro Tip: I used a MISTI to add the sentiment on the plaid panel with ease.
I hope this gives you design inspiration for your simple dies. I call them simple treasures that are a must have in your crafty stash. I have listed and linked all the supplies I used for these projects. Thank you for stopping by!
