Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday!

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme ~ Happy Birthday!

This week we are featuring exclusive products from Simon Says Stamp. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $50.00 shopping spree at the Simon store!
Wow!! So exciting to be celebrating Simon's Wednesday Challenge 17th birthday! My project features the cute Birdies die set from Simon Says Stamp to create a fun birthday card for this special occasion.
Card Base: Side folding A2 size card made from smooth white cardstock.
Background Panel: Cream cardstock cut using an A2 stitched rectangle dies to leave a bit of a white border.
Focal Point: Birdie images cut from scraps of colored cardstock in my stash. I adhered them together with craft glue and popped them up using 3d foam squares. I colored the beaks and legs with copic markers. I cut the branch out from craft cardstock and adhered it to the card with foam squares.
Sentiment: I stamped the sentiment and sub-sentiment on white cardstock in brown ink and cut them out with their coordinating dies.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Blog party . Today I am sharing three fall themed projects using goodies from the STAMPtember release . 👇Special promotion exclusive for this post!👇 The first project features the Twisted Tree Arch die set , Haunted Pumpkin die set and the cute Trick or Treat 2 die. I used a lot of ink blending and die cutting for this project. I used a cloud border stencil and distress ink to create the background. The trees was cut from dark brown cardstock and everything else was cut from white cardstock and colored with distress inks. Next, I used the gorgeous Mod Forest Embossing folder to create the colors of Autumn. I also used the new Be Patient die cut from gold cardstock. I embossed a white piece of cardstock and used a small blender brush to color in the "valley" side of the embossed panel with distress inks and then dragged a brown ink pad directly over the colored trees creating the distressed autumn scene with a few inks splatters.
