Whimsy Stamps Make it Cute

 Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme ~ Make it Cute!

This week we are featuring products from Whimsy Stamps. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
This week I am featuring the very cute Whimsy Stamps Postal Minis stamp set to create a fun project for this challenge.
Card Base: Side folding landscape A2 size card base cut from smooth white cardstock.
Background: White cardstock cut from an A2 stitched rectangle die. I used post it tape to mask off a strip to create a plaid background. I used a layering stencil set and oxide ink applied with a blending brush.
Focal Point: Using the Whimsy Stamp Postal Minis images I stamped them onto white cardstock using black alcohol friendly ink. I then fussy cut them out and used copic markers to add a bit of color. I adhered them with foam squares.
Sentiment: I stamped the sentiment using gray ink and used the coordinating die to cut it out and again popped it up with foam squares and added a few sequins with liquid glue.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Blog party . Today I am sharing three fall themed projects using goodies from the STAMPtember release . 👇Special promotion exclusive for this post!👇 The first project features the Twisted Tree Arch die set , Haunted Pumpkin die set and the cute Trick or Treat 2 die. I used a lot of ink blending and die cutting for this project. I used a cloud border stencil and distress ink to create the background. The trees was cut from dark brown cardstock and everything else was cut from white cardstock and colored with distress inks. Next, I used the gorgeous Mod Forest Embossing folder to create the colors of Autumn. I also used the new Be Patient die cut from gold cardstock. I embossed a white piece of cardstock and used a small blender brush to color in the "valley" side of the embossed panel with distress inks and then dragged a brown ink pad directly over the colored trees creating the distressed autumn scene with a few inks splatters.
