Simon Says Stamp DieCember release day
I am happy to share a project featuring goodies from the Simon Says Stamp DieCember release. Dies are just my favorite to create beautiful projects! Click HERE to see the whole new release.
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down two panels and ran them both through the snowflake embossing folder.
I added distress ink directly to the inside of the embossing folder before running the larger panel through the die cut machine.
I then die cut the wreath die three times and used distress ink, a paintbrush and water to add color to each wreath. I set them aside to dry before glueing them together to create a full colorful wreath. I added a bow I cut from gold cardstock along with a few small stars to the wreath for a bit of shine.
Last, I cut the warm wishes die from more gold cardstock and added it to the card front with gold twine.
I hope you enjoyed the project I made and got some inspiration. I provided affiliate links to all the supplies at no additional cost to you. Thank you for stopping by and happy release day!!

Love these colors!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card !! The Snowflake embossing folder made such a wonderful foundation for your card, I really like the way you stacked a white panel on top of the larger inked embossed panel. The wreath die cuts really add additional interest on top of the embossed panels. I love the brightness the gold wreath layer adds as well as the bow, sentiment & the gold stars on the wreath I can also envision some small snowflakes scattered on the wreath in either gold or glittery coral die cuts to add a bit of frosty goodness.
