Winter Birdies Holiday card

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a project featuring the new Simon Says Stamp Winter Birdies die set. This set are winter accessories for the Simon Says Stamp Birdies die set. When I was a little girl I used to love those paper doll kits creating outfits and adding accessories! This Winter Birdies dies just tapped into my inner little girl so I had so much fun with this project. 
This is an A2 size card base made from bright red cardstock. I masked off a strip of the top and bottom of the a white panel with removable post it tape to ink blend a sunset using a cloud stencil and amber distress ink.
I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Birdies out of white cardstock and ink blended the edges of the birds with Pumice Stone distress ink.  I colored in the beaks and legs with copic markers. I then die cut the Winter Birdie Accessories and colored them in with mix of copic and distress ink.
I used a sentiment from the CZ Designs Tree Plate stamps and cut it out with the coordinating die and added it under the the tree branch and christmas lights.
