Tim Holtz Masculine - Wednesday Challenge

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme ~ Masculine

We are featuring the amazing products from Tim Holtz. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
This week I am sharing  a blend of blue distress inks I saw a fellow crafter use that I just thought was so gorgeous. Given this week's theme I jumped at the chance to play with them!
I began by trimming down a quarter sheet of turquoise cardstock to fit an A2 size card base to leave a white border. I used my sticky mat to hold the cardstock in place while I added distress inks all around the edges starting with the lightest and working my way to the darkest just to the edges to make the center really pop!
I then ran the ink blended panel through an 3d embossing folder for lots of texture. I then used gold paint and a paintbrush to add a splattering of gold flecks. I set that aside to dry and then adhered it to the white card base.
I die cut the sentiment from gold cardstock and twice from white cardstock and adhered together for thickness. I adhered it directly to the front of the card. I then stamped the sub-sentiment in clear ink and heat set it with gold embossing powder on black cardstock. I trimmed it out and added with foam squares. Last, I added few white enamel dots with an embellishment wand and liquid glue.
I hope you enjoyed the project I made for this challenge and got some inspiration. I have provided affiliate links to all the products used. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

**Note** The 3d embossing folder that is in the photo was unfortunately not in stock so I added another option. The Simon store has dozens of wonderful 3d patterns of embossing folders to choose from.
