Spellbinders Get Ready for Christmas
Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
This week's challenge theme ~ Get Ready for Christmas
We are featuring products from Spellbinders. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
This week I am getting ready for Christmas by making a warm and cozy holiday card featuring the Spellbinders Sweater Weather embossing folder and the Plaid Builder Layering stencil set.
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I trimmed down another piece of white cardstock to fit inside of an embossing folder. Before I ran that panel through the embossing folder I designed a custom plaid background using distress inks with the plaid building stencil set.
I adhered my embossed and inked panel to the card base. I then cut a scalloped circle die and ink blended it with a coordinating color to frame my die cut sentiment. I cut the sentiment from white, red and gold cardstock. Trimmed the words apart and layered them together with liquid glue. I die cut a few snowflakes and added them more liquid glue to finish this warm and cozy holiday card up!
I hope you enjoyed the project I made for this challenge and got some inspiration. I have provided affiliate links to all the products used. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
