Tim Holtz Layer It Up/Use Ephemera

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme ~ Layer It Up/Use Ephemera

We are featuring products from Tim Holtz. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
This week I made a holiday card featuring the Tim Holtz Yuletide layering wreath die. Lot's of layers and so fun to put together!
I used a A2 size card base made from red cardstock. I then used a scor board to add vertical lines to a panel of white cardstock. I dragged distress tea dye ink over the raised side of the scored panel to create a woodgrain background. I trimmed that down to leave a bit of a red border.
Using lots of scraps of colored cardstock I cut out the all the layers to create the amazing wreath and bow. I used liquid glue to add all the layers together. I highly suggest using the image on the packaging to help arrange all the little pieces to fit. Makes it so easy! I added clear ink to the last layer of the bow and heat set it with clear embossing powder for some shine. I also added glitter to a few of the berries.
I then die cut the Merry Christmas from red and white cardstock. I cut it out of white 3 times and adhered them all together for thickness. I then used foam squares to adhere the wreath and the sentiment for even more dimension.
I hope you enjoyed the project I made for this challenge and got some inspiration. I have provided affiliate links to all the products used. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
