Gina K Designs Anything Goes

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme ~ Anything Goes

We are featuring products from Gina K Designs. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
This week I have made a fun birthday card with a mini shaker element. I am featuring the Gina K Designs Mega Flower stencil to create a colorful background with the message stamped on the inside.
I began with an A2 size card base cut from smooth white cardstock. I then used a light tacky spray for the backside of this intricate stencil to help hold it in place while I used a blender brush to apply distress inks.I like to do my ink blending on an rubber clear mat perfect for stenciling. When I was finished blending I trimmed down the panel to leave a bit of a white border.
For the shaker element I used rectangle frame die cut from white cardstock and craft foam. I also cut a piece of acetate for the window. I adhered all the layers together and added my shaker bits. I glued it to the upper center part of the card. I cut the hello die from more white cardstock and added it to the center of the shaker box.
On the inside of the card I stamped a birthday sentiment in pink distress ink. I usually leave the inside blank but I just thought it would be fun to change things up a bit!
I hope you enjoyed the project I made for this challenge and got some inspiration. I have provided affiliate links to all the products used. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
