Simon Says Stamp Happy Camper Blog Hop - Day 1

I'm so happy to be participating in day 1 of the Simon Says Stamp Happy Camper Blog Hop. This post will have lots of inspiration, giveaways and a special offer for this blog hop👇👇  
The project I am sharing today features the new Confetti Butterflies embossing folder and the Confetti Butterflies coordinating die set.
The base of this card is an A2 size cut from smooth white cardstock. I then cut another piece of white cardstock using a stitched rectangle die. I masked off each side of this panel with post-it tape and created a background with a polka dot stencil and distress ink.
I then used the coordinating butterfly dies to cut several butterflies from white cardstock and then I placed them in the embossing folder and ran it through my die cut machine to add the wonderful texture to the wings. I colored the wings with copic markers. (I listed the colors below)
I cut the bodies of the butterflies out of gold cardstock for a little shine. I also used gold embossing powder to add shine to the sentiment. I stamped it with clear ink and heat set it with the gold powder. I used the coordinating sentiment die to cut it out and pop it up on the card front with 3d foam squares.

    Your card is pure sunshine !! The colors are fantastic, bright, happy & carefree !! The polka dot background made a great landing zone for the butterflies to strut their stuff being popped up on as if they were in flight.

    Lovely card! I think the Handlettered Encouragement sentiment set is my favorite from this release - so many possibilities to use it depending on the card theme.

    What a pleasure for the eyes! I am astounded to read that you colored these w/ Copic markers. What!?! I thought for sure that you'd used some kind of template and used blending brushes! I love the touches of gold, too. GREAT job!

I created this card with an A2 card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down a panel of Yupo paper to create an autumnal background using alcohol inks. When it was dry I trimmed it down to fit the card base leaving a bit of a white border. I then die cut a frame from white cardstock and added to the card with liquid glue.
