Loving Thoughts Daisy card

I am happy to be sharing a project featuring sentiments from the Simon Says Stamp Loving Thoughts stamp set and coordinating dies. I have used this sentiment with a lovely layered daisy stencil set.
I began by placing a quarter sheet of white cardstock on a craft tacky mat to hold the stencil in place while I used distress oxide to apply ink with a blender brush. 
I did not have to apply ink to the daisy head stencil. I wanted to leave it white. I then trimmed down the stenciled panel to fit an A2 size card base. I wanted to leave a white border and room at the bottom for a sentiment. I tied some burlap twine around the bottom part of the panel.
I then stamped the sentiment in clear ink on white cardstock and and added gold embossing powder over it. After shaking off the excess and pouring it back into the container, I heat set the stamped sentiment and used the coordinating die to cut it out and added it to the bottom of the card using foam squares.
I just love layering stencil sets. Makes creating a beautiful card so quick and easy. I also love to have that perfect sentiment to go with any occasion. Check out this exclusive promotion for stopping by today!!👇👇 I have created a couple of projects to share using some of the amazing goodies from the new Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release. I created this card with an A2 card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down a panel of Yupo paper to create an autumnal background using alcohol inks. When it was dry I trimmed it down to fit the card base leaving a bit of a white border. I then die cut a frame from white cardstock and added to the card with liquid glue. I then die cut the new Fancy Just Because die from more white cardstock. The butterflies were cut from matte gold cardstock using the new Ooh La La Butterflies die and adhered with a glue dot in the middle so their wings could pop up.
