Tilted Daisy Hello card
Hello crafty friends! I am having so much fun with the some of the goodies from the Simon Says Stamp Friend Like You release. I'm mixing a few die sets to create a bright and cheery hello card. This card features the unique Tilted Daisies die.
I cut a panel using a stitched rectangle die to fit an A2 size card base. I then used one of the A2 size rectangle dies to cut a mask from vellum paper. I added it over the stitched rectangle panel and with a blender bush added yellow ink around all the edges. I then used a dotted stencil to ink blend polka dots before I pulled up the mask to reveal the background.
I then cut the head from the daisy die set from white cardstock. I used the coordinating yellow distress ink to color the centers of the daisies. I used the stems from another flower die set because I loved the leaves. I cut those from green cardstock and arranged the flowers, leaves and stems over the ink blended area of the panel with foam squares.
Last I cut the Hello die three times from white cardstock. I used distress ink to color the one of the cuts. I adhered them all together with craft glue for thickness. I added a few enamel dots around the sentiment for interest.
Love the masking with vellum idea. Creates a beautiful look.
