Tim Holtz Masculine
Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
This week's challenge them ~ Masculine
We are featuring products from the amazing Tim Holtz. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
This week I am featuring one of Tim Holtz 3d texture fades embossing folder Brickwork. It has such amazing detail almost as if someone carved it!
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another piece of white cardstock and added distress in to the raised inside of the embossing folder before I ran it through the die cut machine. This technique pushes the ink into the recessed area of the impression.
I then did my die cutting. I cut out the sentiment, stars and letters from white, blue and green cardstock. I adhered them together with liquid glue and used 3d foam squares to pop them up off the brick panel.
I had stamped a sentiment to add to the inside of the card as well as an extra star embellishment. I used liquid glue and an embellishment want to stack the stars on top of each other.
I hope you enjoyed this project and got some inspiration. I have provided affiliate links to all the products used in this project at no additional costs to you. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
**note- the alphabet dies I used were discontinued so I found something similar to link to if you were interested. Sorry about that!!
