Thanks Teacher card

Hello crafty friends! I am sharing a perfect card for those amazing teachers doing the amazing work they do! This project features the fun new Pencil Emboss and Cut folder. This embossing folder had a die for the pencil shape included. I also used the Thanks Teacher die set to create my background.
I began by creating a background panel using the Thank You Teacher die set. I cut it out of white cardstock 6 times and adhered them to a white panel with liquid glue. I trimmed off the over hand of the dies and then trimmed it down a bit to fit onto an A2 size card base.
I the cut the pencil shape die 7 times from white cardstock. This die is included with the Pencil Embossing folder. I placed the cut pencil shape into the embossing folder and ran that through my machine. I then colored each pencil with copic markers. Copics used: tip W7, wood E23, metal ring W3 W5, eraser RV81 RV83, pencil body R29 R14 R21 R22 YR04 YR07 Y21 Y26 YG23 YG25 BG11 BG13. If you want a more watercolor look try not to overblend.
Last, I cut the thanks die from more white cardstock and adhered that over the pencils. I trimmed down a strip of the preprinted sentiments and added that underneath. I hope you enjoyed the project I made and got some inspiration.  I provided affiliate links to all the supplies at no additional cost to you. If you have any questions, please leave a comment. I love to hear from you! Thank you for stopping!
