Spellbinders Fur Feathers Flowers

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge them ~ Fur Feathers Flowers

We are featuring products from Spellbinders. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!

It's no secret that I am in love with making my own plaid backgrounds so I am featuring the Spellbinders Plaid Builder stencil set. 

I began by choosing one of the four stencils that come in the Spellbinders Plaid Builder stencil set. I wanted to create a simple grid pattern. I placed a piece of white cardstock on a sticky mat to hold it in place then used a blender brush to add the stripes with pink and yellow ink.

I then trimmed down the stenciled panel and added it to the A2 size card base. Next, I die cut the flowers from the Flower Power stamp set that has coordinating dies. I cut them from scraps of colored cardstock that I had in my stash.

I also used various sizes of circle dies for the centers of the blooms. I then die cut the sentiment from the CZ Hi There greetings from white cardstock. I used the same color ink that I used for the stripes. I then cut it out using the coordinating die from the stamp set. Last I added some enamel dots to finish this card up.
