I'm so happy to be participating in day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Friend Like You blog hop.  I am sharing a unique project with you today. Don't miss the special offer for this blog hopπŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
Simon is also giving away a $25 shopping spree to a lucky winner! The winner will be picked from the comments left along the hop and announced July 2nd on the Simon blog. This card features the new Ocean Horizon die that will fit the front of an A2 size card perfectly. The base of the card and all the pieces to the Ocean Horizon die were cut from white cardstock. I added color to each piece using distress ink and a small blending tool to create the sunset and ocean scene. I then added tape runner over the whole front side of the card base and paper pieced the distressed elements together. I added a few ink and water splatters with a paintbrush.
I used the Adrift Air Balloons emboss and cut folder to cut the balloons to add to the front of the card. I used white cardstock scraps for each balloon and ran it through the embossing folder. I then used the die to cut them out and added distress ink to color them. I used foam squares to pop them up.
I have provided the list to the many talented participants in this hop below as well as links to of all the supplies I used to make the project. If you missed day 1 of the hop make sure you check it out. Also, for tons more inspiration, visit the Friend Like You gallery.  Happy hopping and thanks for stopping by!
