Simon Says Stamp Friend Like You Blog Hop - Day 2

This card features the new Ocean Horizon die that will fit the front of an A2 size card perfectly. The base of the card and all the pieces to the Ocean Horizon die were cut from white cardstock. I added color to each piece using distress ink and a small blending tool to create the sunset and ocean scene. I then added tape runner over the whole front side of the card base and paper pieced the distressed elements together. I added a few ink and water splatters with a paintbrush.
I used the Adrift Air Balloons emboss and cut folder to cut the balloons to add to the front of the card. I used white cardstock scraps for each balloon and ran it through the embossing folder. I then used the die to cut them out and added distress ink to color them. I used foam squares to pop them up.

    What a beautiful card, I think the first word that popped into my head when I saw it was "dreamy" the Hot Air Balloons on that beautiful background was just that, "Dreamy" like one would expect to see from looking down on a Hot Air Balloon ride. Great card.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party

Check out this exclusive promotion for stopping by today!!👇👇 I have created a couple of projects to share using some of the amazing goodies from the new Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release. I created this card with an A2 card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down a panel of Yupo paper to create an autumnal background using alcohol inks. When it was dry I trimmed it down to fit the card base leaving a bit of a white border. I then die cut a frame from white cardstock and added to the card with liquid glue. I then die cut the new Fancy Just Because die from more white cardstock. The butterflies were cut from matte gold cardstock using the new Ooh La La Butterflies die and adhered with a glue dot in the middle so their wings could pop up. I also used the new Stacked Blooms embossing folder for the background that I colored with copic markers.
