Hero Arts Anything Goes
Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
This week's challenge them ~ Anything Goes
We are featuring products from Hero Arts. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
This week I am using the gorgeous Hero Arts Whimsy Floral Bold Print background stamp. This is my dream background stamp! Lots of little florals to color so I can create a customized beautiful background panel.
I began by placing the 6x6 background stamp in my MISTI to stamp on to white cardstock. I love using the MISTI to get great coverage. I used the Pumice Stone Oxide ink for it creamy coverage. I then wiped away the oxide ink and added clear sticky ink to heat set with clear embossing ink for a little shine.
I used a rectangle die to cut the desired size out of the stamped and embossed panel. I used copic markers to color in the floral images and adhered it to a white A2 size card base. I then die cut an oval panel and ink blended the edges with Pumice Stone distress ink. I used tape runner and added it to the center of the card.
Last I die cut several of my favorite flowers from my collection of floral dies and colored them using the same colors I used for the background. I adhered them inside the oval panel. I die cut the banner and sentiment from white cardstock. I used the coordinating banner stencil to add some ink to the banner and colored the letters from the sentiment with more copic markers. I popped everything up with 3d foam squares.
I hope you enjoyed this project and got some inspiration. I have provided affiliate links to all the products used in this project at no additional costs to you. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
