Bold Flowers Thank You card

Hello crafty friends! I am having so much fun with the new Simon Says Stamp Bold Flower die from the Moments in Time release. It has lots of layers to create a big beautiful flower. I pulled out my colored cardstock scrap box and used up quite a bit.
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then ran a piece of white cardstock through a swiss dots embossing folder to create a textured background. I trimmed it to leave a bit of a border.
I then went to work on die cutting the layers from the Bold Flowers die set. I wanted create three big flowers so I chose lots of colors of scrap cardstock to use. After I die cut the layers I used a white gel pen to add some detail to some of the the layers. I also used copic markers to create polka dots on other layers. Just to make it fun.
I adhered each layer of the flower together with thin foam squares create dimension without a lot of bulk. I arranged the flowers on the embossed panel with liquid glue. Last, I die cut the thank you sentiment from more scrap colored cardstock and added to the card.
I hope you enjoyed the project I made and got some inspiration to pull out that box of left over cardstock scraps and make something fun! If you any questions, please leave a comment. I love to hear from you! Thank you for stopping by!!
