A Birthday Card and a Tag

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a colorful birthday card and because I die cut out lots of flowers for this card I had extra left over so I created a matching tag.
I die cut out flowers from the Simon Says Stamp Simple Flowers die set. I used distress ink and a small blending tool to add color to each flower. I then die cut a panel of white cardstock using a wonky stitched rectangle die. I wanted to create a flowing focal point for the flowers. I used a hillside die to create the "wave" and used it to mask off the top and the bottom portion of the panel and used the same distress ink to ink blend the center.
I then die cut a bunch leaves and the hugs sentiment from champagne cardstock to add a little shine. I popped everything up with 3d foam squares. A simple set that showcases the burst of color.
I hope you have enjoyed this project and got some inspiration to use those extra die cuts inks!  I have provided affiliate links to the supplies I used for your convenience at no additional costs to you. Please feel free to leave a message if you have any questions. Thank you for stopping by!
