Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Blog Hop - Day 1
I'm so happy to be participating in day 1 of the Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite blog hop. I am sharing 3 projects that focus on Mother's Day. Don't miss the special offer for the blog hop todayππ
My first project is a Mother's Day card featuring the Fantastic Florals embossing folder. This embossing folder comes with two coordinating floral dies. Using a white 1/4 piece of white cardstock i ran it through the embossing folder and colored the flowers with copic markers R20, R21, R22 and E47 for the centers. I used the coordinating dies to create masks for the florals so I could add color with distress ink for the background.
Next, I created a gift tag for that special gift for Mom. I die cut the Scalloped Floral Tag set once from colored cardstock and again from white cardstock. I adhered the Mother's Day die that I cut three times for thickness on the colored tag. I then die cut many floral images from the Sweet Tiny Flowers die set in coordinating colored cardstock from the first tag. I randomly glued them to the white tag and then tied the two tags together with ribbon.
Last, I created a trio of 4-bar Mother's Day and Spring themed cards featuring the adorable I Love You A Bunch stamp set. I simply stamped the bunny images from the stamp set on white cardstock in black ink and colored them with copic markers. I then fussy cut them out and adhered them to a small scalloped square die that I colored with distress ink. I stamped the sentiments from the stamp set on each card in a coordinating color. CAS - Cute and Simple!
Simon is also giving away a $25 shopping spree to a lucky winner! The winner will be picked from the comments left along the hop. Each comment you leave will be an entry into the drawing.
