Simon Says Stamp You are My Favorite Release Day

It's release day! I am sharing a trio of Mother's Day cards using the absolute gorgeous Elegant Rose layering stencil set from the new Simon Says Stamp You are My Favorite release. These cards also showcase the new Mother's Day die. Click HERE to see the entire release.
If you would like to see me use this stencil in motion, I have an Instagram reel where I demonstrate how to stencil the pink rose and leaves.
I used my craft tacky mat to hold a 1/4 sheet of white cardstock in place while I ink blended each layer of the stencil set. Pro tip: use a light removable adhesive spray to add to the delicate parts of the stencil layers to hold them easily in place while you apply ink with a blender brush.
I then used a stitched rectangle die to cut out the stenciled panel and adhered to a white card base. I die cut the sentiment once from gold cardstock and once from a heavy white cardstock. I adhered to to the card base with foam squares to pop it up.

I created this card with an A2 card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down a panel of Yupo paper to create an autumnal background using alcohol inks. When it was dry I trimmed it down to fit the card base leaving a bit of a white border. I then die cut a frame from white cardstock and added to the card with liquid glue.
