Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit - Butterfly Blossoms
I am so happy to share a few projects using goodies from the new Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit called Butterfly Blossoms. This kit is packed with all kinds of gorgeous things to play with!
I made this trio of cards using an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. Using a paper trimmer I cut a few of the sheets of pattern paper into small rectangles. I adhered them to a piece of white cardstock that I matted using the honey cardstock. I then stamped the sentiments from the stamps set on vellum with white embossing ink and heat set them. I trimmed them to a strip and wrapped the strips around the panel and adhered it to the back and added it to the card base.
For this next project I chose another piece of the pattern paper and die cut it out using a stitched rectangle die and adhered that to the white card base.
I then stamped the sentiment on another piece of the pattern paper included in the kit. I stamped it with clear ink and heat set it using gold embossing powder. I used the next size down from the set of stitched rectangle dies to cut it out and add it to the first panel.
I used the small butterfly image from the stamp set to stamp out and fussy cut. I used 3d foam squares to add them around the sentiment. I added diamond stickles to their wings for a bit of sparkle.
