Birthday Card Fix!

Today's post is all about shopping your stash. I have so many wonderful stamps, stencils, dies and many more amazing crafty supplies that I have collected over the years. Here are a few of my go to items for quick and easy birthday cards to have on hand.
Each card was made the same with the exception of the sentiments and the layout. I used an A2 size card base for each made from smooth white cardstock. 
I trimmed down a panel of white cardstock to leave a bit of a border. This panel with be used for the stenciled background. I used a balloon stencil in three sizes. I overlapped them when I applied the ink to give the balloons a transparent look.
I the used a light gray colored pencil and a ruler to draw strings from each balloon.  I then die cut each sentiment from white cardstock three times and glued them together for thickness. The shadow for each sentiment was cut from holographic cardstock.
I then die cut the streamers from more holographic cardstock and adhered them to the card using foam squares for dimension.
These birthday cards will work for girl, boy or any age! I love making a few of them to have on hand!

Simon Says Stamp DieCember Blog Party

I'm so happy to be sharing inspiration for the Simon Says Stamp DieCember blog party! Be sure to take advantage of the  exclusive promotion for this blog party👇👇  I'm one of those rare people that begins to decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. Using the new Ornate Star die I created ornaments for my little flocked Christmas tree. I feel like I could make a dozen of these easily! I die cut the Ornate Star die once from gold cardstock and once from silver cardstock. I then glued the die cut stars on to silver and gold glitter paper. I weighted it with a large acrylic block to help the stars adhered firmly to the glitter cardstock. When the adhesive was dry I used a craft knife to cut out the stars from the glitter cardstock. I then die cut the Merry Christmas sentiment from red metallic cardstock and white cardstock and adhered together for thickness and glued them carefully to the stars as to not have a glob of glue mess up the shine of the metallic cardstock. I then trimmed down another white panel and scored it every half inch and then dragging the distress ink pad directly over the panel to create a woodgrain background.
