Soft Serve Cones Birthday card
The weather was so nice this week that it has inspired me to make an ice cream birthday card that just screams spring! I used the Simon Says Stamp Soft Serve Cone die.
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down a panel of white cardstock to create a background with a large stamp embossed with clear ink and heat set with gold embossing powder.
Using post-it tape I masked off varying widths of line to ink blend a soft plaid panel that I trimmed down and centered to the cardbase. I then die cut the ice cream cones from white cardstock and colored cardstock. I adhered together with liquid glue and popped up with foam squares.
I die cut the sentiment from gold cardstock and stamped the sub-sentiment using clear ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I cut those into strips and again popped up with foam squares. I used stickles for a bit of sparkle.
I hope you enjoyed the project I created and got some inspiration. Please leave me a comment if you have any questions. I would love to hear from you. I have provided affiliate links at no additional costs to you listing all the supplies I used. Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting!
