Pretty Pink Posh Shake It Up!

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme is Shake it Up!

We are featuring products from Pretty Pink Posh. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!

This week's theme is so fun. I love a good shaker card. I am using the Pretty Pink Posh Party Cake die that is so perfect to make a shaker element.

I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another piece of white cardstock to create a plaid background. I used copic markers and a ruler to create criss-cross lines. I also used tape runner to the plaid lines and sprinkled clear glitter for a bit of shine.

I die cut the elements from the Cake Party dies set from white cardstock. I colored the pieces with copic markers. I adhered the cake pieces on a piece of vellum and trimmed it to fit inside the frame.

I die cut the frame 5 times from white cardstock and once from clear acetate to create the shaker element. I adhered them all together to create the well for the sequins. I stamped the sentiment onto pink cardstock with clear ink and heat set with white embossing powder. I trimmed it down and added it under the shaker element.
