Birthday Gifts card
I try to stockpile birthday cards to use for the upcoming year. Do you make lots to have hand or are you more an "as need to make" person? Let me know in the comments. π
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then created a textured background panel by using a stencil and white matte stencil paste. I set that aside to dry while I die cut the presents.
I used up some scraps from left of pieces of cardstock to create the presents. I adhered them together with liquid glue and then added them to the stenciled panel with foam squares.
I then used the CZ Design Birthday Basics stamp and dies to create my sentiment. I first stamped it in red oxide ink and then a top layer of clear ink so I could add clear embossing powder to heat set it for a bit of dimension.
I hope you enjoyed the project I have made for this challenge and got some inspiration! For your convenience I have listed and linked the supplies I have used below. Thank you so much for stopping by!
Supplies:
I like to have birthday cards on hand but also I like to make personalized ones for close friends.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cheerful card! I like to have cards on hand.
ReplyDeleteSuper fun card and easily a gender neutral card as well. I make cards to have on hand, as my family and friends raid them on a regular basis. SHHHs Don't tell them that I have a secret stash for myself, or they will steal those as well.
ReplyDeleteI definitely stock up and make dups of them all.
ReplyDeleteI usually make them as needed. I like to use colors or themes that I know the recipient particularly likes. I do also belong to an online birthday group that exchanges cards, and I normally make a couple at a time in a seasonal theme for those.
ReplyDeleteLove the beautiful card you made! The packages are so pretty and I love the background too!
What a great idea
