We are featuring products from the amazing Tim Holtz. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
I am happy to share a project using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. There are so many amazing inks out there but I have to admit for years now distress inks are my go to medium when adding color to my projects. I have created a fun distress inked blended background.
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then masked off a rectangle on a panel of white cardstock to create an ink blended and stamped background.
I used three shades of blue distress ink starting with the lightest shade first, then the medium and around the edges, the darkest. I then used a large snowflake stamp and used the darkest ink to stamp on top of the ink blended masked off panel.
I then splattered some white acrylic paint over the panel to create a snowy look. I set aside to dry while I die cut a large leaf die twice to create my white Christmas tree. I staggered the two die cut leaves to make the tree look full. I added glitter and sequence for some sparkle to the tree. I stamped a the sentiment and banner using clear ink and heat set it with white embossing powder.
Very beautifully made๐❄️๐
