Dotted Hearts Adore You

Hello crafty friends! Is it too soon to be thinking about Valentine's Day projects? Well if you are already looking for ideas, you've come to the right place. I am using the gorgeous Dotted Hearts 3d embossing folder from the new Simon Says Stamp To Love release. 
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another piece of white cardstock and ran it through the Dotted Hearts 3d embossing folder. I pulled out some red and pink copic markers to color each raised heart. I added detail and patters to a few of the hearts using a white gel pen. I used a light gray copic marker to color in between the hearts for more contrast.
I then die cut the sentiment from silver glitter cardstock. I also cut two additional sentiments from heavy cardstock to adhere together for thickness. The outline for the sentiment was cut from white cardstock. I then tied silver twine around the copic colored panel and adhered to the card base. I added the die cut sentiment over it along with a heart cut from gray cardstock and the you cut from red cardstock.

Simon Says Stamp DieCember Blog Party

I'm so happy to be sharing inspiration for the Simon Says Stamp DieCember blog party! Be sure to take advantage of the  exclusive promotion for this blog party👇👇  I'm one of those rare people that begins to decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. Using the new Ornate Star die I created ornaments for my little flocked Christmas tree. I feel like I could make a dozen of these easily! I die cut the Ornate Star die once from gold cardstock and once from silver cardstock. I then glued the die cut stars on to silver and gold glitter paper. I weighted it with a large acrylic block to help the stars adhered firmly to the glitter cardstock. When the adhesive was dry I used a craft knife to cut out the stars from the glitter cardstock. I then die cut the Merry Christmas sentiment from red metallic cardstock and white cardstock and adhered together for thickness and glued them carefully to the stars as to not have a glob of glue mess up the shine of the metallic cardstock.
