Trio of Star tag set

I'm happy to be sharing a project using the fun Whirl Stars die set from the new Simon Says Stamp Festive Fun release.
I created these festive tags using a stitched tag die from my stash cut from white cardstock. I then used some distress ink to blend the edges of each tag for some interest. I then used a dot embossing folder to add texture to them as well.
I then die cut the stars from red and green cardstock. Again, I applied distress ink to the edges of the stars for some added interest. I used a white gel pen to add dot detail to the red star. I added the stars to the tags using foam adhesive squares.
I used a small circle die to cut out a reinforced tag topper and then used a hole puncher to create an opening on the topper for the ribbon to go through.
I die cut the sentiment for each tag out of gold cardstock and also from fun foam for thickness and dimension and glued them to the bottom of each tag. Last, I added a little wooden button to each green star with liquid glue for a vintage holiday feel.
I hope you enjoyed the project I have made for this week's challenge and got some inspiration!
I have listed all the supplies I used. I have provided affiliate links at no additional cost to you that help support this blog. Thanks for stopping by!
