My Favorite Things Anything Goes
Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
This week's challenge theme is Anything Goes!
We are featuring products from My Favorite Things. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
I am happy to share a project using the My Favorite Things Polar Bear Pals stamp set. One of my favorites Christmas stamp sets.
I began with an A2 card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another panel made from more white cardstock to ink blend with red distress ink. I splattered white paint over the inked panel for a snowy look.
I then stamped a couple of images from the stamp set and colored them in using copic markers. I fussy cut them out and adhered to a square of black cardstock. To create the polaroid frame, I die cut out a square that fit the image I colored out of white cardstock. I then used a paper trimmer to cut around the square window to look like a snapshot. This is a great way to customize your own polaroid frame to any size you want.
I then stamped the sentiment using oxide red ink and clear embossing ink. I then heat set that using clear embossing powder. I then used the coordinating die to cut the sentiment out and added to the bottom of the snapshot. I also die cut several small snowflakes from my stash and adhered them to the card base.
